Smart Ministry ("the App", "we", "our") is designed to help individuals track their personal ministry activity, manage territories, and stay organized in their spiritual routine.

The App is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your personal data remains fully secure and under your control. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights with respect to that information.

By using Smart Ministry, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The App stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Ministry hours and timer session logs
• Placement counts (books, magazines, and other literature)
• Return visit and Bible study records
• Personal notes attached to records
• Territory names, addresses, and visit history
• Location coordinates (only when explicitly pinned on the map by you)
• Meeting schedule and part assignment reminders
• App preferences and settings

Smart Ministry may request access to your device's location, solely for the following purposes:

• To show your current position on the territory map
• To allow you to pin territory locations

Your location data is never transmitted off your device. Coordinates are stored locally only when you explicitly choose to save a territory or visit with a location.

The App is fully functional without granting location permission. Location access is entirely optional.

Smart Ministry works entirely offline. All data is stored locally on your device using an embedded database (Hive). We do not operate any servers that receive your personal data.

The App connects to the internet only for the following non-personal purposes:

• Google Maps tiles: To display the map background in the territory management feature. No personal data is sent — only standard map tile requests are made.
• Nunito font: On first launch only, to load the app's font from Google Fonts. This is a standard CDN request with no personal data attached.

Your data is stored exclusively on your device. Its security depends on your device's built-in protections (PIN, password, Face ID, Touch ID, or other biometric locks). We recommend enabling these protections on your device.

The Export Backup feature saves a JSON file locally to your device or allows you to share it via your device's standard share sheet. The developer has no access to this exported file and cannot receive it.

Please store exported backup files securely, as they may contain ministry records and territory information.

Smart Ministry sends local notifications for the following purposes:

• Ministry activity reminders (weekly, month-end)
• Meeting schedule reminders
• Part assignment alerts
• Active timer status (Android foreground service notification)

All notifications are generated entirely on your device. No external server is involved in sending or scheduling these notifications.

All notification types can be individually disabled from the App Settings screen at any time.

Smart Ministry does not ask for, collect, or store any of the following:

• Name or display name
• Email address
• Congregation or circuit information
• Phone number
• Age, gender, or any demographic information
• Any personally identifying information of any kind

Smart Ministry does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal information is collected at all, the App is safe for users of all ages.

If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us — though as noted above, the App has no mechanism to receive such information.

Smart Ministry uses the following third-party services in a limited capacity:

• Google Maps: Used to display map tiles in the territory management feature. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No personal data from the App is shared with Google Maps — only standard tile requests are made.
• Google Fonts (Nunito): Loaded on first launch to display the app's typography. Standard CDN request only.

No analytics services, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or social media integrations are included in the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable laws. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Material changes will be communicated via the App Store or Google Play Store update notes.
